Just finished my second exam & PC thoughts
I have just finished my second exam at college today and it was a tough exam. Never thought that students would leave early and then either go home or go to work. After I was done, I head on over t another building which was a fifteen minute walk. The reason is that I had to request for financial aid for 2008-2009 year. Oddly enough, the college had just recently posted up the financial aid application, so I printed out from there.
What shocked me was that the computer equipment was changed from Macs to Dells equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, as I was still on my 4 year old Pentium PC. Money was really tight for me as I had to pay for this month's credit card bill and was not thrilled about it. I can't build my PC until the end of the year, as I recently had to replace my 4 year old Netgear router with a cheap Linksys router. My brother already complained about the sluggish speed on his laptop and I experienced problems with web pages loading when I'm downloading torrents. The Netgear router was better, but it lacked customization options for me. Might as well wait until I saved enough money to build my own PC.
